I’ve never encountered such poor customer service in my life. I called to confirm my reservation, only to be met with an attitude and an audible (long) huff of annoyance when I couldn’t find my confirmation number. When I asked why my inquiry was bothering him (the huff was so loud and awkward I couldn’t believe my ears), he responded rudely, defensively, and disrespectfully. Rented a car from them and I denied additional insurance options because our full coverage policy on our personal vehicle covered everything. He was very adamant about how our policy only covered the rental vehicle and nobody else involved. I agreed to the additional liability insurance and after leaving called my insurance company who confirmed my coverage did in fact have the protection I stated. Please be aware when renting from avis. They run a scam, and they will send you an email a month or two later after you return the rental car, saying that you caused damage to their vehicle. You can search it online. I have attached the picture for your reference. They have scammed so many people.
