Tony is great :) I had a few nonstandard items he went above and beyond to work out for me. He was very friendly and personable and just seemed to like his job. I wish the folks at the 800 number were anywhere near as good. Next time i have to rent I will seriously consider driving out of my way to this location to work with Tony

Update 3/3/2026. Same review as before. Great place to rent a car! I recently had a fantastic experience with Avis Poway and I can't recommend them enough. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, making my trip stress-free and enjoyable. The reservation process was a breeze. Tony would always have the car ready even same day reservation. Avis at Poway is THE BEST because not only is the company reputable, but because this particular location has the warmest, friendliest and most helpful staff, Tony. Never have I ever come across such a wonderful service staff in the car rental business. Tony makes the whole experience so easy and stress free. He’s got our business!

Booked a reservation and when I went to go pick up the car they had nothing available. Person working did not offer any other vehicle even though I saw cars/suvs parked at the Avis spots. Very disappointed since the online system said this location did have a car. The reservation was done days in advance and picked this location since the airport had none available.
