We had a reservation for 6:00 pm. Upon arrival after waiting at the desk for over 20 minutes, we were told that they had left for the day. We received no communication that the pickup time would be an issue. Unacceptable and we will not rent from Avis again.
Very disappointing experience. Less than two hours after picking up my rental, the oil change warning light came on. I called customer service that evening and was told I could exchange the car the next day. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip because I needed to leave early the next morning. Run from this place unless you want to get charged for regular wear and tear like a little dirt on the carpet. I travel for a living and rent cars constantly from Avis and National. I was on vacation this time around. Either way I have never had to fork up the deposit for dirt on a carpet. They talking about it being a quick turn over and they can’t spend to much time on a car…I can tell you don’t spend time on the cars at all. It had no windshield washer fluid.
