We rented a truck to transport a small boat for our family vacation at Avis in Upland through Costco.com. The day we were planning on picking up the truck and leaving on our trip, Frank from Avis called to tell he couldn't find a truck. What? We had reserved this weeks in advance and he waited until the day we were leaving to inform us that he doesn't know what he is doing. Had a reservation for 8am. When I got there nobody was there, and the door was locked. Even though it says they open at 8am. 2 stars and not 1 for the nice gentleman cleaning cars who opened the door and let me sit down to wait.
Great staff, very helpful. They even offered us a red, shiny camaro.
This place has horrible cars. Employees are friendly and helpful, but the cars they have are the worst. It ruined my trip with family. I picked up at 11am, After driving for 40 miles it started giving alerts like Check engine light, SRS Airbag system Malfunction, Maintenance required all these.. and also the tires were worn out. I was going from Upland to SFO and I almost drove till Valencia.
