Rental car drop off was scheduled for Sunday 10/19/2025 at 8AM. I arrived at 7:45 and waited until 8:10 AM. Nobody ever showed up to work at the facility to take the car. I dropped the car off in the garage with the keys in the car. I have never been able to get ahold of anybody at the facility and the phone keeps taking me to customer service people after going through the automation and they are unable to assist. Today I delivered one Mazda 3 that I rented in Austin and that I drove to this facility around 3:30 pm The only Avis representative received the vehicle, didn't reviewed the car in front of me and took the vehicle to the garage underneath without even asking for me signature. At this point I am concerned about what hidden charges that Avis can apply if they have these poor check out procedures.
Never again will we rent from this location. My husband and I will just go to the airport. We have already contacted Avis customer service for assistance with our bill. Horrible service not greeted with a hello, or thank you for choosing Avis.
I refuelled the car before drop off and have been charged 40 dollars for fuel - Chris the manager has ignored my emails. In addition noone was present when I tried to drop the car off initially.
