Car was good and employees were decent enough but somehow i went from original going to be $300 to being charged $500. I guess the devil is in the details. Also, lady said gas would be cheaper from them but Im pretty sure there was some extra charges in there.

We had a great experience with Avis at the Cedar Rapids airport. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful and gave me a choice of cars within our chosen category, as well as the option to upgrade. We were informed that if we left the fueling of the car up to them, the price per gallon was actually less than the going gas station rate. Be careful to review your final bill as they can charge you for fuel even if u have filled your tank to full. Even during return, I specifically told I had filled to full and showed her the picture of fuel gauge, then still charged for fuel. I had to call them up and they say system error and looks like fuel refill will be added by default if u drive less than 75 miles.. sounds like scam! Beware

Booked a luxury vehicle and when we arrived to the counter was told that they do not have any luxury vehicles. Asked for a refund for the difference between a luxury vehicle and standard one, but customer service would not issue the refund. Also was charged for 18 gallons of gas @ 10$ a gallon when there was probably half a gallon worth to fill up. Customer service also would not budge on refunding any part of that. Would go with other rental car agencies.
