DO NOT RENT FROM HERE, not worth the headache in this bad economy….Rashad (assuming he’s the owner or manager). I was charged additional $150 for cleaning fee for having sand on the floor from our feet (we didn’t wear the same shoes that was worn on the beach so you know it was bare minimum). I am a loyal Avis customer and rent vehicles frequently. Unfortunately, my experience with this location was incredibly frustrating and highlighted what appears to be a serious breakdown in both customer service and communication. The day before my rental, I spoke with Kumani Owens and explained my situation. He instructed me to call the branch approximately one hour before my 5:00 PM pickup time to check on vehicle availability. This location has poor customer service. Kumani and Rashad are not fit for customer service.
I am a long-time, loyal Avis customer and rent vehicles frequently. Unfortunately, this location has consistently delivered some of the worst customer service I have experienced from any company, let alone a major brand like Avis. Kumani Owens was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in listening to or addressing my concerns.
