I got there to pickup my rental to be told there weren't any cars available. Instead of reminder email a call would have been nice. I called the 800 number and they found cars at the airport. Get to the airport and not only was the li e ridiculous, the wait time to get a car was too. Every time I thought I got lucky, the clerk said oh I need to get you another car. It was banana. A quick process turned into a 3-4 hour time zapper.
Apparently an "agent" can decide they don't want to rent to you whenever they wish. I have rented from Avis before and never had an issue until I went to this location. Not only was he very nasty to me but refused my rental based upon a "credit check" done off my debit card. My credit score is excellent and my bank states that doing this is not possible. And there has been no help or support from Customer Service. Don't rent from this location!!! Low rent to say the least!
I should have read the review first before booking!!! Do not bother renting here at this location. We arrived at 8:40 it was not open. Then a guy name Brad came around the corner like he just came from the bathroom. We reserved an SUV, he then said they don’t have any trucks. Now, why would Avis accept the reservation and waste people time? On top of that this person did not have any answers or suggestions. We rent vehicles all the the time for work and for our non profit, we’ve never experienced anything like this!!!!
