I found my recent experience with the Thunder Bay office to be good. I had a small concern, but it was handled very well and quickly.
Above and beyond the call of duty! When our flight from Toronto was delayed, I called to see how long the desk would be open as we would arrive just after midnight. The woman at the desk said that she would stay as late as 1 AM, even though we were the only scheduled customer. When our flight was further delayed, I called to say that we could take a taxi and come back for the car in the morning. Really bad Avis location. Lady at the front is standoffish and made a face when I said I don’t know how many kms I drove on my trip. Who cares? It’s unlimited mileage I gave you a guesstimate.
I was paranoid to rent due to some bad reviews but had a great rental experience. The front staff were very friendly and accommodating. They got me in a car and on my way in no time. Thanks again for the great rental experience
