Been renting mainly from Avis for 30+ years about 15-20 times per year. Arrived yesterday to SFO Avis after 1am to be told my mid-size rental was not available and after waiting an hour getting a 12 passenger van. A day later still no cars. This also happened to me twice at STL. Spent a while tryibg to negotiate their robo-"customer-service" in vain. Avis service has really gone down hill. Time to consider alternatives.

ALL BAD, AND I HOLD PRESIDENT’S CLUB STATUS. They lie and say they don’t have the inventory. INEPT LOCATION. THEY DON’T ANSWER THEIR PHONE. IF A LOCAL BUSINESS WON’T ANSWER THEIR PHONE, AND FORWARDS YOUR CALL TO CORPORATE: THEY JUST DON’T CARE.
