The absolute worse experience of my life. My PI firm and I are out here for a case, we called in and authorized payment prior, their supervisor didn't do it. We have all the documentation and still can't get a rental! They still have a hold on my account
Been renting mainly from Avis for 30+ years about 15-20 times per year. Arrived yesterday to SFO Avis after 1am to be told my mid-size rental was not available and after waiting an hour getting a 12 passenger van. A day later still no cars. This also happened to me twice at STL. Spent a while tryibg to negotiate their robo-"customer-service" in vain. Avis service has really gone down hill. Time to consider alternatives.
