In short, I will no longer be an Avis or Budget customer in the future. Let me tell you about my recent rental experience. I recently rented an SUV for about less than a week. Yesterday I attempted to return the vehicle during the hours corporate customer service had informed me the rental office would be open and operating. I was told they would close at 6PM only for me to stop by and discover the office was closed with no option for after hours return.
