Completely Unacceptable Experience This is, without question, the worst car rental location I have ever encountered in nearly 20 years of living in Delaware. The Newark, DE Avis facility is in deplorable condition—run down, poorly maintained, and resembling an old warehouse rather than a customer-facing business. More concerning, every vehicle I was offered reeked of marijuana and smoke. I was initially given a Toyota Corolla.
