I had reserved a rental through Costco travel 1.5 months prior with AVIS for my family vacation. A couple of days before, we called to verify that the vehicle would be available and they confirmed. We did not rent a car here, we came without a reservation and they didn’t have any available cars… but the person at the desk, Balsim, was very helpful and gave us information for another car rental place we could go. He even called ahead to see if they had a vehicle available for us. Great customer service for a person who wasn’t buying.
Reserved a car at this location, went to pick it up and the counter person advised me that if I use a debit card that would run a soft credit check unless I used a credit card. I stated that doesn't make sense since it's a debit card and the reservation was already pre-paid. And that a debit card is almost like cash and it would make more sense if I tried to give him my credit card instead, he proceeded to get angry and rude and said that now I can't rent a card there. I will never rent from Avis again.
Dani is a great guy and was so helpful with taking care of adding a driver to my contract. He really wants to make sure your experience with Avis is a great one. I highly recommend going to this location for your rental car needs.
Super quick service and friendly staff. Got me back on the road with a nice rental quickly.
