They leave a car for me at the Amtrak station, and I leave it there when I leave. They aren’t the newest cars but they’re reliable and inexpensive. One phone call and it’s all set up. I can’t express how rare this is in a town the size of McCook.
3 days ago we book a vehicle to get to something very important they told us come pick vehicle up day of I wake up day of getting everything ready only to get phone call telling me sorry we don't have your vehicle you asked for 10 customer service was really disrespectful throughout the conversation,some business ethics right there. Great job
Call 3 weeks in advance maybe even 4 weeks. Call the day before I was supposed to pick it up to see what time I was supposed to pick it up and they don't have it.. Didn't even call me to let me know stating that there was a note that I needed to call back. Why would I call back when I reserved it for that day glad I called instead of wasting 2 hours of my time to go pick it up.
They had our rental waiting at the local municipal airport when we landed (plus, two stars). That is where the pluses ended. We reserved our rental thru Friday and had a work emergency last minute that extended our stay and was going to require transportation to Lincoln/Omaha. They refused to honor the Avis return/drop policy for a different location because it “put them in a bad spot”.
