I rented a car from Avis and was quoted $138, but they ended up charging my card $338 without any explanation. That’s a $200 difference with no warning or valid reason. This feels like fraud and dishonest business. I’ve tried to contact customer service, but got no help. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Beware of hidden fees and shady billing practices—I will not be renting from Avis again, and I’ll be reporting this to my bank and possibly the Better Business Bureau. Do better, Avis!

Two different times these folks could not seem to do their jobs. The first was when they made us two hours late to leave for our trip because they could not manage to open the safe and access keys. My experience with Avis rental car has not been good. I booked an Avis rental car twice, and both times I was disappointed. The first time, the shop was not even open. The second time, although I had already paid for the car I booked, I was not given the car, nor was I offered any compensation. Avis simply used my money for a month without providing any service. Just amazing customer service from Richard (manager of the store) I had several opportunities and interactions and each time the service was amazing. There was a mistake on my bill and he fixed it right away and waited on the phone with me until I received the new receipt.
