Edit: Avis replied to our email and basically apologised for us being given the run around but here's the best part, despite them apologising, they still finished the email by asking us to physically go into an Avis office to receive help as they (corporate customer service) still can't get us to speak to their offices directly. It's clear the social media team here pretends they want to resolve issues by asking customers to send emails but only for show. Others be warned. Response to Avis: email sent as instructed and awaiting reply. I will be posting the outcome here (ie how Avis handled this stuff up) so future potential customers will know how Avis handles their mistakes (ignores customer or provide solutions). I have been trying to speak to this office direct regarding am issue however their published phone number for this office kept getting routed to corporate customer service (who said i need to speak to this office direct). Savannah was amazing! After a 1300 mile trip we had a flat tire the night before we were returning the car. After getting the car towed Savannah helped us get the return completed. She was knowledgeable and completed the task efficiently but more importantly was how kind she was while helping us! Avis has a gem!

I made my reservation a month in advance, landed at for an 11pm flight, expected to be able to pick up the rental I reserved for 6 hours for a meeting the following morning with a return flight the following day, I wanted to use my business card yet was told I couldn’t use the tap to pay or Apple pay feature, policy is one thing but Savannah severely lacks both knowledge and customer service as she could not explain to me why I’d have to swipe my physical card instead of just using tap to pay like I’m able to everywhere else... read more
