I’ve had to deal with the same rude agent at this Avis location three times in a single week—today was the last time I will ever rent from here. She has no idea how to speak to customers respectfully. After multiple vehicle swaps due to mechanical problems, I returned today per Avis instructions to exchange yet another defective car. Will never rent car from Avis at GSP. Staff is very rude and very unprofessional. Doesn’t matter if you have reservation or not they will treat you like trash. Second time here at GSP and would not rent again from Avis. Go for national or enterprise or get a car from other location near GSP.
Avis and Budget do not know how to run a car rental business. Tuesday in Cincinnati, they ran out of cars regardless of reservations and we had to go with another company. Today, in Greenville, we’ve been in line for 45 minutes already with several people still in front of us. Our reservation was with budget, but they closed their desk and sent everyone to the Avis counter.
