Avoid renting from here! When we checked in at the DAL airport everything kept getting worse. 1: A huge line at the airport with only 1 person working, a time suck and annoying but understandable 2: had a reservation for an electric car (had reservations for 2 weeks prior) and they ended up not having any charge. There are scam guys. I had taken a vehicle on June 24 to july 8th 2025. And on august 1 there’s a charge of 241.2$ from avis which says toll. I never used a toll with that car. There are literally 25 tolls used even in early morning 3 am. Where i never woke up at that time. I read some news on reddit there are people like me with same problem. There i saw many scams some people working there changed the toll thing which will be in the car for their personal use and replace it. Or else someone had mistakenly changed the toll ... read more
Rented an SUV for a trip to TX from KS and it broke down 3.5 hours from our destination. They rescued us and drove us BACK an hour to get a new rental. We missed our first night at our rental because we didn't arrive until 4am. There was no oil on the dipstick, and the overflow tank for the radiator was bubbling, and a puddle of water under the car..to top it off, when it blew, something happened with the electrical and my seat got almost burning hot!!! 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Experienced a mishap with Avis and was overcharged, but in the end, they made it right. Overall good experience
