Walked into this Avis rental the first thing I experienced was a mold smell along with a dirty floor . The man at the counter immediately was rude when I told him I’ve never been there before, not only that but I came in for an Uber rental , the rental information given was completely inaccurate and the worker got disrespectful all while sitting on a phone. Very unprofessional and very rude I made a reservation and showed up to pick it up and I was told that they had no cars available for me. Extremely vulgar and nasty. I do not recommend them for anybody. The office is dirty and filthy and so behind.
After 2 months of the rental I am being charged $200 for tolls, I have added my personal transponder and activated via sunpass as added rental vehicle with plate number. and I paid all those tolls. This is ridiculous and I called Avis Margate about this, the guy on the phone said he will contact me back it has been 2 days nobody is helping. I called again, noone is picking up the phone. I don’t do reviews like this usually but this is not right!
Made reservation, showed up, told no cars available and I would be put on waiting list
