I was directed from the Payless counter to the Avis counter, where the agent, EDWIN, incorrectly told me I had to pay extra because my reserved car class was unavailable. Pressured by time, I agreed, but another agent at the pickup area later confirmed this was incorrect and refunded the charge. This misleading information and pressure to pay an unnecessary fee is concerning and should be reviewed by Avis.

In line for 40 minutes for them to not have my car I reserved ready.
Absolutely disgraceful service. I landed at 2:00 PM and didn’t even get to the counter until 4:00 PM. They had exactly one staff member trying to handle a line of 20+ people. Even once customers finally got through the line, the wait wasn't over. I saw multiple people waiting an additional 30+ minutes just for their vehicles to actually be brought around or cleaned. When it was finally my turn, they didn't even have the sedan I booked—they tried to "upgrade" me to a massive Ford Expedition MAX, which is a complete nightmare... read more
There were 10 terminals but one or two associates worked. A long line with more than one hour wait time.
