We had the worst experience with avis rental car recently. We made a reservation but realized that the return date was a day too early, so we cancelled that reservation. And we made another one with the right return date. However, Avis decided to charge us for both reservations. When we disputed the charge with our credit card company, which is Citi, Avis told Citi that it was a legit charge. Super friendly and professional.
Gave me the run around all morning about having cars. When they finally said they have a car it was one of the most expensive rentals they have on file.
$165 a day for a car rental. Need I say more? Extremely rude staff
