I cannot recommend supporting this company. I worked here for many months with no performance issues, yet I was abruptly let go for being “not a culture fit.” In practice, that felt like coded language for bias. During my time there, I was repeatedly made uncomfortable by inappropriate comments. Long line at the preferred counter - but overall it worked out
We flew into Plattsburgh and had a rental with another company. The lady at the Avis desk was very helpful and worked with the rep from the other company to make sure we had what we needed. She even retrieved an item left in the car from the other company for us when we returned the car. That is true customer service!
Recently rented a car from Avis at Plattsburgh airport. My incoming 7pm flight was rerouted and delayed due to weather. Called them and was told they’ll stay open until 10pm. We kept in touch through text throughout the situation and we were able to land and get our car just after 10pm. Kudos for staying open and relieving our anxiety. Very helpful crew at location. Booking, pickup and return was a breeze.
Multi-day rental from the Plattsburgh Avis. Both Rebecca (at pickup) and Tricia (at return) were fast, friendly, professional, knowledgable, and effective in managing my rental. The car itself was great -- clean, well maintained, and feature-rich.
