I rented a Car from Avis to drive from Eugene, Oregon to Ogden Utah. Upon returning the car, full of gas and well within my rental agreement window; I was informed that the Avis representative had quit, but that the car would be processed as returned. I received a text alert 3 days later that my car was overdue. upon calling to rectify the matter I was given a case number and was told that it takes 5-7 days to resolve.
