I’m an Avis’s preferred customer and I just got scammed for fuel even though I returned the car completely full. It took me over 30 minutes to try and resolve the issue with Avis by phone definitely not worth my time. Update: Avis promptly fixed my issue after I replied to their response from my google review. I’d be wary of renting from this particular FSD Avis in the future though since is seems like their practices aren’t as transparent and trustworthy as most other locations throughout the country. This place is the biggest scam. We rented an SUV, and nobody ever told us it wasn’t unlimited mileage. The guy at the desk asked us where we were going and we told him Texas. He did not say anything about mileage, just gave me papers to sign. The total was to be $550. I returned the car and then received a receipt for $786. Then my card was charged $947!!!
