I am definitely starting to lose my faith in Avis and it’s really unfortunate because I’ve been a preferred Member for so long, I’ve used them on business trips and for personal leisure it’s just been my go to, however my last couple experiences including this one has just been a poor representation of the company and I’m not sure if this is just the new culture of Avis or if it’s poor leadership and supervisor placement, but I hope that these reviews encourage change my most recent experience or poor experience for that mat... read more

Absolutely terrible service. We waited for **over an hour** just to get a car, and the staff was extremely slow to respond. Despite clearly needing help, we were **ignored multiple times**. Yes, the location seemed busy, but that does **not justify** treating customers — especially those arriving from international flights — with such disregard. I had a terrible experience at the Avis Buffalo Airport location on October 5, 2025 (Rental Agreement #454586613). The young manager named Aristotle had the worst customer service I’ve ever seen — yelling over the walkie-talkie like a madman with no regard for customers. Completely unprofessional behavior from someone in a leadership position. If this is how management operates at one of Avis’s busiest locations, serious retraining is needed. Worst experience ever! Manager Isaiah Burgos at this location does not represent Avis very well. Back in August we rented a Chrysler 300 from Toronto that vibrated profusely at high speeds and pulled to the right. As we were heading out of town, customer service advised to take it to the closest airport which was Buffalo. Isaiah said he could only put us back in a Toronto plated vehicle if he had one.
