I have been renting from Melbourne Florida Mall AVIS location for several years and thus felt compelled to leave a review to highlight just how delighted I have been with their service over time. Fast service no wait!
WORST CAR RENTAL PLACE EVER!!!!!! DONT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!! Rented a van and asked the employee to go to the car to check for scratches and gas and he refused. When I got to the van it was parked in the last spot in the mall parking lot. The van was DISGUSTING!!!! Food and trash everywhere !!!! I didn’t even feel comfortable putting my kids in it because it had food all over the seats and floor and cups and garbage! On top of that the van was only 3/4 full but the paper said full tank 8/8. Yachta was exceptional with assisting me get my rental. Nice and knowledgeable. Will recommend and rent from there again.
Had 2 problems: 1. The man working at the front desk is rude. 2. The car was picked up in Melbourne and returned in Orlando. 2 weeks after it was returned, I got a bill from AVIS for a cleaning cost for $450. It says it’s because of animal hair in the car, which is ridiculous because I don’t even have a pet.
