Super quick and reasonably priced upgrade.
Awful, awful customer service. Avis is my go to car rental agency. I’ve been to this location twice and will never rent a car from this location again. This appears to be a serious management issue.
They don’t even deserve one star. I booked the reservation over two weeks before picking the car up. I booked a full-size but when I arrived they only had one car available, a low quality compact. They refused to call other locations to see if other cars were available and basically had a take it or leave it attitude. It was located in the parking garage so it was dark when I picked it up. Overall a decent experience. The customer service was mixed. We rented from someone who didn’t like people. And we returned to someone who was very nice. BEWARE of false charges! Check and double check your receipt. We were falsely charged for fuel service but they immediately corrected the error once we called and updated us with a new receipt.
I was charged 5 times for my prepaid car rental. Had it refunded by customer service at a layover. Upon landing I find out there were zero cars available in PDX and zero cars at any nearby Portland Car Rental Centers. Had to rent at another company double the prepaid rental rate. Oh and my credit card was suspended and cancelled for the 5 duplicate charges.
