When picking up my rental, was given a totally different option than what I pre-ordered and it had screeching failing brake pads the whole trip from the start on the mini suv he gave us. Never will go back. Over priced for a terrible experience.
Booked a car online to rent a car, at noon today. I came twenty minutes early no one was there. A man who rents out the building said I had to call the number on the paper on the door, which i did and there was no answer and the mail box full. Then another customer came in and said he been waiting for 2 hours and no one has showed up. So he left mad. Then I left after 1212. This is ridiculous, you can not run a business like this.I will never rent from Avis of Alpena, Michigan.
Owner is never on time for scheduled pick ups. Regularly late. Good luck getting a receipt to turn in for work.
