Our flight department has been coming to Avionics Place for nearly a decade. We've tried using other shops, but we always had problems because other shops would forget something - sometimes minor and sometimes major - in their install. Avionics place is truly a one-and-done kind of place. They even ride along for a functional flight check to make sure that everything works and is to your liking. They pay attention to details, and we've never had to bring any airplanes back to them for additional repairs. A++++++++++++
How the Great have Fallen After using this shop and sending business to the Avionics Place for 20 years. I WOULD NOW NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING. I received a quote and was scheduled to have repairs to my plane. Several electrical plugs were to be replaced on my autopilot. They had told me that these connectors were causing the problem with my autopilot porpoising. They were to resolder a broken wire on my trim toggle. I had problems with an avionics install that was done elsewhere and they treated me as if the $20,000 install was theirs. They were meticulous in figuring out and solving the problem. They will be my go to for avionics going forward.
