I went hoping for menopausal health care. The assistant was dismissal and the doctor was also. I wanted hormone treatment. She said take this (short term prescription) I asked about estrogen and she said maybe in time. I'm 54. I don't have time. This place is only concerned with babies. Not women. She acted like a man who couldn't care less. I feel abandoned by my doctor.
The administration here is terrible. The scheduling/front desk could not be worse. You can’t get ahold of them. They won’t pick up the phone, they’ll tell you to go sit outside of a door and wait to be seen and leave you there for 40+ min and won’t tell you nobody is coming to see you until you walk up and ask again. The doctor’s are good though.
Dr. Busick is an excellent physician. The RN I spoke to on phone, Noel, was also wonderful!
If I could give below zero stars to this practice, I totally would! It’s insane how long the wait time is here.. they clearly don’t respect patients’ time. And it’s not just once or twice; it happens every time I have an appointment. They take an eternity to call me in. If you have no other priorities or value your time at zero, then sure, go ahead settle for less. Otherwise, avoid this place. What’s happening here honestly feels like neglect. I have been with Avina since my first child over 6 years ago. Everyone is well trained and work well as a team, but there are two people that have always stood out. Lauren, NP truly sees her patients and makes you feel that every thought or concern you may have while pregnant is not pointless and makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions. Angie (runs the NST tests at Lane ave) is by far 10/10 nurse and clinician. She too does not make you feel stupid for any concerns and ensures you are seen and heard.
