I have been with Avina since my first child over 6 years ago. Everyone is well trained and work well as a team, but there are two people that have always stood out. Lauren, NP truly sees her patients and makes you feel that every thought or concern you may have while pregnant is not pointless and makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions. Angie (runs the NST tests at Lane ave) is by far 10/10 nurse and clinician. She too does not make you feel stupid for any concerns and ensures you are seen and heard.

Do not see Dr. Bell here. All of the other providers at the Lane Ave Avina location had several weeks for scheduling wait time so I settled for Dr. Bell. During my appointment, he aggressively pushed me to take birth control as a way of taking care of my absent period rather than trying to find the source of the problem at all (it had been a full year since I menstruated). I really don’t understand the point of having a women’s center that doesn’t actually care to help all Women. This center does not take Medicaid or Medicare or my health insurance that was given to me by the state since I was a child. Honestly, it’s just very disappointing.
