I have had nothing but great experiences at Avina Women's Care. Going to the gynecologist can already be uncomfortable for many but Dr. McGill makes you extremely comfortable in every appointment. She provides clear communication, ensuring that you aren't leaving with any questions. Highly recommend Dr. McGill!!
Doing away from the people that carry United Healthcare the reason why is because some of the people on United Healthcare have a Medicaid that helps pay their premium. It's Medicaid too it's United Healthcare but it's got some Medicaid. Now you know why they're shutting it down United Healthcare. Cuz it's part of the state. I’ve been going here for around 8-9 years and I don’t understand all the negative comments. Most of them seem to be about long wait times, trouble getting ahold of the front desk or nurse line, or front desk workers being rude. I will say when I first started going here, I could have agreed with some of that, but it wasn’t enough to make me leave the amazing care I was getting with Dr. Shepherd. Went to my first appointment today as a new patient was so excited to have a doctor or see a doctor that understands and studied menopause. I get escorted to the room by an assistant she ask me all the questions she was great so excited.
