Everything is great with everything DR Avila does for her patients
Dr. Avila is a drug pusher, she got my sister addicted to all kinds of pain meds that she has yet to recover from. My sister is not 50 yet and is now living in a nursing home because of the consequences of pain med addiction caused by this physician. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
The Doctor is awesome! Stephanie, the assistant office manager is extremely rude and has no consideration for anyone, no matter age or race. She will not listen, she talks over you, and hangs up on you while you are explaining something. She has no business dealing with people who are elderly, hard of hearing, have trouble understanding, and are in pain. Stephanie needs to be gone. We will not go back there because this has happened several times now and my mom is having anxiety from this.
Appointment times are useless as the office operates on a first come first serve. I had an 8:15 AM appointment got to the office 50 minutes before the office opens then have 5 people ahead of me??? Dr . Avila is a great doctor but the office policy regarding appointment times is inconsiderate to the patient
It took 2 1/2 months for appointment. arrived early. Receptionist asked for 'insuran an ID". I waited 30 minutes after appointment time. They took 2 patients before me so I asked when was my 0830 appointment, They said it was at 0830, I asked for the time and was told 0900. I asked how much longer and was told well we only have one doctor. It was a cattle call not an appointment. I am sick of doctors abusing us with long wait times, and they don't care, they just want the money. Learn English!
