I went to Avila Dental on August 4 expecting a routine cleaning. I have two covered cleanings through my insurance, and I had not used either one. Nobody told me I was getting a “deep cleaning.” Nobody explained that I had periodontal treatment planned. Nobody told me I would owe $250. I did not knowingly consent to a $250 procedure. The team here was so friendly and took great care of me first thing in the morning. I was expecting a deep clean but the team was able to ensure I was comfortable during the entirety of the cleaning. 10/10 would recommend!

I originally went to Pearl Dental in Culver City and had a horrible experience. They pressured me to pay an exorbitant price for a service. Fortunately, I walked out and called Avila Dental. Avila completed the same service for half the price. The teeth cleaning was painless and quick. This was easily the best dentist visit that I have experienced. I couldn't give them a better recommendation.

Absolutely the best dentist and office staff. Dr. Avila will take the time to personally explain to you any issues and options that you have. After going elsewhere that focused on excess intervention, coming here was a breath of fresh air. This office is honest and won't push you do to work that you don't need. The office staff is also incredibly nice and helpful. They'll square away any issues with insurance and explain clearly to you what you owe.
