We were referred to Mr. Russell Andrew Aney, the owner of Avid Solar, by our brother-in-law, who had solar panels installed by Mr. Aney. We hired Mr. Aney and signed a contract for solar panels. We paid him, according to our contract, a $2,500 initial check. He installed the metal brackets on the garage roof. We gave him an additional check of $4,000 for the permits and applications. Avid Solar is no longer in business
I would highly recommend Avid Solar. Russ installed our solar panels six years ago and they have produced the power that was expected and they look great. Avid Solar also provides excellent service. Last month Russ emailed me to tell me that a conductor had stopped working on my system and it was covered by the warranty. He offered to come by soon to install it at no cost to us, which he did, and it was wonderful to see him.
These people are knowledgeable and passionate about solar!
