Good value place. Breakfast was really great. Staff were super friendly. The shower is the big issue. Just super poor water pressure. Also the AC struggled on the top floor. They’d had some plumbing issues when we stayed so maybe it was temporary.
My feedback regarding this hotel is based on the following; Bed, linens, pillows: The bed and linens were super comfortable as well as the pillows! Very comfy The rooms disadvantages: There is no closet! Only about 6 hooks on the walls for your clothes. When I checked in I had to ask for extra hangers. There are no drawers. There are 2 small cubby holes that allows for a few folded items or shoes. There is no coffee makers in the room. I’ve stayed at hotels both less and more expensive than this Avid, but what keeps me coming back is the people. Tracey deserves special recognition — her determination to accommodate and make sure every guest is comfortable and satisfied is unmatched. Got a room on short notice here last year after a camping trip didn’t work out (got down to 20 degrees at night). The hotel seems to be pretty new and modern, which was nice. And the price for a room for me and my wife was reasonable. The bathroom was not incredibly clean though - there was a decent amount of mold and mildew in the shower and in the corners of the bathroom.
