Have stayed here many times! It’s reasonably priced, clean, and meets all your needs for a quick one night stay. I’ll continue to stay here.
I was highly surprised. The hotel was super clean, and the rooms were new and spotless. You just can’t beat the prices, you get everything you need. The grab-and-go breakfast was excellent, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly. The next time I visit Salem, I’ll definitely be staying there again.
The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the location conveniently located right off of 81. I appreciated the great service during our stay.
It was okay. The room was clean and they had breakfast sandwiches. I really don't like the decor - it had a sterile contemporary... almost industrial look. No carpet in rooms. They use a gray linoleum flooring in the rooms that I guess is easier to keep clean. We had a lacrosse team staying while we were there and they were a rowdy bunch. Walls were too thin with those guys around at 2AM.
I'm concluding a 3-week stay at the Avid Hotel in Salem, Va. where I've stayed for 3-weeks during the time my father was passing. The hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The staff have been truly amazing-very friendly, courteous, thoughtful, and helpful. I'd especially like to thank Chris, Angie, Jess, Mita, Neveah, Bri, Jignesh, and Karisma.
