This was my second stay at the Avid Hotel in Ocala, and unfortunately it was very disappointing compared to my first visit in December 2025, which is why I chose to return. One of the reasons I liked this hotel initially was that it allows pets, making it convenient when I travel with my daughter and our animals. When my daughter and I checked into Room 118, the room had a strong unpleasant odor and clearly had not been cleaned thoroughly. This was very different from my experience during my first stay. Needs a bigger sign so you can see it from the road. Also it’s the south and there wasn’t a drop of sweet tea in the building. Needs some sweet tea. Other than that the stay was fabulous. Definitely recommend. Very clean. Very nice.
We're OTR and stayed here for one night due to the truck breaking down on us, I must say we were really impressed at how clean and welcoming it is, the people are extremely friendly while professional at the same time, the beds are very comfortable, they have a good selection of a grab n go breakfast with 24/7 coffee, it's conveniently set in an area with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, along with a Dollar tree across the street plus a Walgreens and different other places to choose from, we'll definitely ... read more
