I first have to point out I stayed with Avid Ihg from July 27 until today Sept 5 while I await repairs to my home after the tornadoes that hit Chicago. I ask for late check-out 6am was told ok 12 noon. At noon I get a knock on door and I called from desk to let Glady's know I'm loading up. Mind you I have over 7 moving totes bags and my dog. Second time staying here, and honestly, it did not disappoint! I'm not a local and traveled 5 hours Chicago for my stay. The first time I stayed here was for a concert, and I came back again for another concert because I had such a great experience the first time. Once again, everything was great! Clean no frills hotel in a great location. Fabulous customer service and a really nice breakfast. Close to the airport and Rivers casino.
The staff made our check in amazing. We stayed during the NW Indiana storm disaster and everyone made us feel comfortable. The room was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and we got some great sleep. The over all experience was definitely a 10 out of 10. I recommend this hotel hands down
We made this reservation online about 15 minutes before arriving at the hotel when our other planned hotel turned out to be very dirty. Management at Avid was accommodating and kind, making sure we had everything we needed for our late night check-in. The rooms are modern with great features that just make sense! The shower is huge and the soaps are Dove, which is a lovely change from hotel standard soaps and shampoos. We were very pleased with this hotel, it's a great location and parking was free!
