I had a great experience with Avid Autocare. I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Colorado in for steering issue. They hopped on it right-quick and dealt with the problem, and also serviced my brakes which needed work. I was appreciated their friendliness on the phone and in person and their relaxed manner -- forthright but not pushy at all. The folks at Avid did a very very thorough inspection of my car and sent me pictures of what they could. An itemized estimate of what it would cost for each individual issue was given to me. They seemed trustworthy, were very polite, and professional. I also appreciated the no-pressure feel of talking to them. So many auto care places are pushy, etc., so this was quite refreshing. Drove my car to their shop and dropped it off for maintenance. They charged me almost $600 in labor to diagnose it. Wanted almost $5,000 to repair and replace items I just replaced last summer. I refused the work and when I went to pick it up it wouldn’t even start. I had to pay a tow truck because the guys were rude and wouldn’t even help try to start it. It just needed jumped.
