Took care of Rex my ferret very well. He had a cold and gave him some medication and he did great within the allotted time that they said that he would get better by. They said if he wasn’t to bring him back so far so good thank you to a very knowledgeable team.
I have been a client of Dr. Eckerman-Ross for a couple of years now, and have spent many hours and thousands of dollars bringing my five pet doves in for physicals, beak and nail trims, imaging, medication prescriptions, boarding, etc. And I think she is a competent veterinary medicine doctor, and I thought we had a good doctor-client rapport. The doctors here have been taking care of my birds for almost four years now. I trust their level of care and abilites completely. Drs. Ross and Sokolik do not cease to amaze me; they are wonderful, absolutely the best.
RecommendedAvian and Exotic took the best of care of the Reverend, my pet rabbit. When he suddenly developed GI stasis they made time to see him right away and kept me updated during his stay in hospital. Even with CoViD restrictions the the vets and staff were just wonderful.

Excellent Veterinary Hospital. They treated my King snake and aver the past 11 months have my beautiful Luci, a BlueFront Amazon. They took great care of her and were very gentle and loving. Dr Eckerman-Ross was dedicated to giving Luci the best care possible. When I learned Luci had fatty liver disease, heart murmur and tumors on her tummy I was devastated. DrEckerman-Ross worked so hard with me to get Luci well. I definitely recommend AEAC to everyone who has an exotic pet of any kind. So dedicated Thank you all ❤️🦜

Avian and Exotic Animal Care is amazing!!! Dr. Sokolik and Dr. Tepedino have both been involved in the care of my leopard gecko, Cornelia and I could not be happier with the care she has received! I’ve had to make multiple trips in the past few weeks and it is well worth the 4 hour round trip each time. The staff is awesome and you truly feel like you are right there in the room with them even though you’re in your vehicle or at home. I recommend this clinic to anyone who owns one of those “unusual” pets! 🙂

I have been a small pet owner for roughly 15 years and I have never been more comfortable with bring my chinchilla here. Not many places can handle or understand that exotic but they did the job. He came in drooling and a bit of weight loss after I noticed he wasn’t eating enough and I was honestly scared he was going to pass (just turns out he needed a teeth teeth trim). I love Avian and Exotic Animal Care! The staff is so sweet and friendly, definitely THE place to bring your babies! Dr. Locke is a kind, friendly, compassionate vet who's always been so great with my fur/scaly babies, and is very personable, letting me know what's going on with my babies and taking the time to explain/educate me on what's going on.
