This morning I picked up my keys and had access to my apartment for the first time. When I walked I noticed a nauseous smell. After unloading the items in my car I decided to ask the leasing office if they were aware of the smell. I walked in and asked, “ did someone die in my apartment?” What I was told was that someone in the building cooks Indian food. Apparently other residents have mentioned it. Needless to say I disappointed and it will be a very long year.!
I am looking for an apartment and I thought I would try Avia. It was very welcoming and I really felt "at home" when Autumn was discussing the apartments and pet policy. She was very kind and positive. Made me think that the "vibe" of Avia may be for me! I have not been able to rent a unit yet, but I will update this review as soon as I do!
