We had a great experience building with Avia, our house is beautiful and the support/communication was lovely.
The overall building process with Avia Homes was generally satisfactory, and I was pleased with the progress leading up to handover. Unfortunately, my experience after handover was quite disappointing. Following the final bank settlement, I was handed the keys to my new home on 19 May 2026. At the time, there were several outstanding items that required attention, including paint touch-ups, cleaning of the alfresco area, and a number of minor defects. We had a very positive experience building our home. The colour selection appointment was excellent—Tahlia from the interior design team was incredibly helpful. She respected our preferences while also guiding us away from choices that may not have worked well, which we really appreciated. The building approval process was surprisingly quick.
