This has been the worst experience of my life. It took 6 months to go through the process and in the underwriter declined it for no specific reason. By the way, I have refinanced 6 times in last 4 years and never been declined. I am not sue if it was declined or Avex Funding guys are cooking up a story. I have worked with Semin Valani at Avex funding multiple times over the last 6 years. No only are their rates most competitive, Semin is dependable and responsive. She has always come through to close the deal. I have referred many of my friends who have refinanced multiple times just like me.
It is one of the worst companies. I also experience that " they collect all the documents and submit to Wellsfargo.These people dont' even have any access to contact and followup with Underwriter at Wellsfargo. If the wellsfargo underwriter clears the file, these people make money and close the loan". They can go up to any boundary to make money from our loan refinance. Even I marked that Semin was very rude with some customers. All loan agents are working illegal. Many times my loan agent told me that Moni doesn't allow to ... read more

Run don't walk from this company! – Lousy and incompetent service! I have been in the real estate business for nearly 40 years and cannot remember the last time I have encountered service this bad! The loan agent had over 30 days to process the loan and did not deliver. What I found so frustrating was that the loan agent simply dissappeared when needed most to provide information on loan approval status. One of the Worst experiance – I have dealt with multiple agents/direct lenders in the past and Avex funding experience is one of the worst I had. The agent I worked with is Moni. She promised me that after the loan is closed the appraisal fee will be refunded. There was a problem at the loan document signing time and they had to change the lender to commit to the original terms they promised to me. Best rates in the country – I have found AVEX funding lending rates to be the best in the country. They have closed my loan at the historic rates at no cost. The agent I worked with was very prompt in the calls. Yes it did take some time to close, but at the end it was worth it. They honored my rate lock.
