Avery's Hair Emporium is the shop to visit if you want a good haircut at a decent price. Avery is pleasant, thorough and truly cares about what his client wants and needs. There are few shops like his on the northside that know hair.

Avery is a hair artist and chemist. I have gotten loc maintenance in several parts of the city, but never had a stylist so precise with the needs of my hair/hair texture. It's been 10 years since I've been in a salon due to some not so pleasant outcomes. Made an appointment with Avery. He was waiting for me when I arrived. Lovely. Avery did a thorough evaluation of my hair and told me things I did not realize was going on. Awesome. I described the style I wanted and he applied all of his gifts to my hair.
