Update: Avery contacted me and gave me access to my high-res photos. I will still rate 3 stars b/c of this whole experience. Please be cautious when doing business with him. I wish I could recommend Avery but I just can't. In 2019, my wife and I hired Avery b/c we were impressed by his style of photography and editing. For our wedding, Avery did a great job. Update 9/27: I got a response from Avery mentioning he had missed our last email, and we reached a compromise that worked for both. He mentioned occasionally missing emails because of a justified reason, but I wish I had known earlier so I could have been more understanding of the situation and followed up differently from the beginning. All in all, im happy we reached a compromise and some of the photos we got were quite good/creative, so I'm updating from 1 to 3 stars. When my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we made a tier list. After lots of weeding out of mediocre photographers, we narrowed our selections down to two. We resolved to contact the last two to see which one we wanted to go with. From the minute I first met Avery on zoom, I knew that I wanted to work with him. Great photos with a good turnaround time and a nice website. Helpful with poses and it was a fun session for our engagement photos.
