Our soft-crust pizza has been voted Best in Bloomington multiple times by both the readers of the Herald Times and the Indiana Daily Student. Four of our Signature offerings have won awards at regional, national and international pizza contests: Cream & Crimson, Beckon Desire, The Parthenon and Lambda Gyro Pi. Avers = Customer Service FAIL – I've posted the following review on Google Maps before and I'm posting it again: I live downtown on Kirkwood and my pizza came at least an hour later, about an hour and 15 minutes after I called in fact, even though I was told it would only be a 45 minutes wait. I called Avers back to address this issue and all I was told by the "manager" was that he or "they, couldn't do anything about it", and that they usually "don't do anything" about late pizzas. Nasty Dirty – Go carry out, that place is nasty, rude, the managers are idiots, and no one ever washes their hands!! cash register right onto my pizza every time. Never again. Avers deal used to be 8.88 now its 13.99 plus a hidden 99 cent delivery charge, that the driver told me the owners get!, seriously check your receipt! They must be going under, oh and they just closed the columbus location, probably because of health code.
Best pizza anywhere! – This is my favorite place to get pizza! The menu is really versatile and has delicious specialty pies like Chicken Masterpiece and Beckon Desire. They offer tons of toppings and sauces to make your own, and I've never had a bad pie from Aver's. Great Pizza – Aver's pizza is unique, good flavor and and a great alternative to the chain pizza factories in town. The order was taken smoothly and the pizza delivered in 25 minutes. The order was correct and the delivery driver polite. The price was comparable to the big chains. Overall a great alternative and highly recommended
Best Delivery Pizza! – Aver's is _the_ best delivery pizza place I have ever found! I have tried other local pizza places in the many cities and I have yet to find one as tasty as Aver's. I am not from Bloomington but whenever I visit, it is one of the local eateries that I make a point of ordering from (usually multiple times!)
