I LOVE this gym. They cater to where you are in your fitness journey. I had to stop for a bit due to medical issues not related to working out. I can’t wait till I can return. All the coaches are fantastic, I’m sure. But, I have only worked out with Kari and Justine. Also get lots of encouragement from everyone there. So looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
Cross Fit is weird, man. I never wanted to do it but the basic gym routine got boring. Coming from a traditional gym/sports workout background some of it can be intimidating and the movements are awkward but the folks at Avg Joe’s really make you feel welcome. The coaches are encouraging and knowledgeable and help you progress but at a safe and comfortable pace. Cross Fit music needs more thrash metal in it and air bikes are the devil.
Would recommend for someone of any skill level, awesome community
