Get directionsIf I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. Gough couldn't even properly document what finger of mine was injured the night he and his nurses sat across the hall from my room for two hours and ignored me while I sat in near agony from pain. 4hours and 20 minutes of nothing.
Did not get the help I needed and they didnt even address what brought me in there in the first place. Spent three hours waiting just for them to tell me what they THINK is wrong. It seems that all they're trying to do is get you out the doors, I would not recommend wasting your time here. Did no labs, no nothing. Just poked and prodded at me, I ended up leaving in more pain than when i arrived. Would rate zero stars if that were possible.
I was sent home, and I got large ketones. The doctor called me manipulative and said that I was faking it and that I was an abuser of the system. I went to the next closest ER, where i was admitted (edit: I am also currently being transferred to a bigger hospital in sioux falls). I 100% do not recommend this hospital but I especially do not recommend Dr. Andrew R. Gough. He was rude and extremely callous. He didn't listen to me as a patient and he barely treated me as a person.
Reallt great ER Dr. Named Courtney Merkwan working here. I have been here a couple times for emergencies. Dr. Merkwan was real good to us. She was very personable which sometimes doesnt exist in medicine. Staff was pretty cool.
