Had an electrical issue with my door locks and it was causing an issue with my remote starter. They fixed the issue and replaced the remote start and did an awesome job . They were reasonably priced and very honest through every step of the process. Hiru was very patient with me and answered every question I had , and I had alot of questions lol. avenue sound in patchouge is the worst retailer i have ever dealt with.i purchased a full stereo system for my vehicle which they installed for me.i made the arrangements over the phone a set up an appointment to have the components installed.after the work was completed i picked up my vehicle and noticed greasy fingerprints all over the vehicle as well as wire clippings all over the inside.i am very particular about the appearance of my vehicle.after i got home i realized a reconditioned stereo was installed.i never agreed ... read more

EDITED: manager said he wanted to work things out if I removed my reviews. I did so and he did not hold up his end of the deal. On Jan 20th I had a scheduled appt and called at 9am to see approximately how long it would take to have the remote car starter installed. I called the same number on the groupon and asked for the Patchogue location. A man on the phone told me that I was not scheduled for today and he was all booked. They are rip off.They had coupon on group on for remote car starter at 145 .But cheating is in fine prints .They charge you 80 dollars extra,although fine print just tell luxury cars. So people whatever car you have,even Hyundai .They will charge 80 dollars extra.So 145 coupon is fraud.because of them I am unsubscribing to group on too.And when I posted my review ,it shows over a year ago.I am posting on 12/16/2013

This car alarm and audio shop has an extensive selection of items and manufacturers to choose from. It is large, clean, well stocked with a team of knowledgeable sales and service staff. My only complaint is that installation takes quite a long time, however their waiting area is very comfortable with cable service and a flat screen tv. I have had more than 4 cars alarmed or audio installed there and wouldn't hesitate to return with more.

Just had my son's car worked on and Mike, once again man, you did a great job. The tinting is perfect and the nav and stereo is quality. I'm glad I followed you from your last job to Avenue Sound. Not only are you worth following but Avenue Sound's store is nicer too! Thanks to all that worked on the car from Mike to the installers. Very much appreciated.

This place stinks bad – they got the worst installers around and the sales people are liars, They write there own reviews about them selfs do your self a favor and don't go there they will wreck you car and steal your money the new salesman mike tried to rob me on a pioneer radio he charged me 375 then I findout at another stereo shop it sells for 250 what a rip off then when I ask for a refund mike said no refunds store policy I didn't even get it install yet just wanted my money back and he would not do it what a bunch of ... read more
