I was surprised to see a negative comment regarding the stylist “Jecykaa” as I lived in Calgary for 19 years and find it super difficult to find a good hair stylist in this city. I think she’s probably the best in the city hands down especially when dealing with blonde. I included my pics which I don’t usually do as well. The stylist took her time, she was very clear in communicating the process and she executed exactly what I asked for. To each their own but I am super happy with Jecyka’s work. Completely messed up my friends hair, not worth the price and couldn’t even do a simple trim evenly!!!
I’ve never had a haircut take 15 mins. Usually a hair appointment is a luxury experience but my experience was nothing like that at all. Got shampooed and then she kicked a client out of her chair to sit me down. Didn’t even clean or sanitize. She parted my hair 4 ways took 4 big cuts and that was it. $45 plus a tip was not worth the experience at all. I’m new to the province and I would not recommend Jecyka to anyone looking for a trim. I’ve been going to see Jecyka for my hair for years! In my opinion she’s one of the best in the city. She always ensures I’m happy with my hair and talks to me and shows me throughout the process. I’ve never left unhappy! My hair has still remained healthy and she’s very personable.
I had a terrible experience with this salon went in to have my hair dyed to medium Auburn and was asked before to send pictures of my hair which I did .I also sent color of what I wanted.The lady said she could do it no problem.I went in sat down and she immediately starting putting color in and when she came back and tot shampoo my hair I still never seen color.She blowdried my hair and kept chair away from mirror while straightening it and when she was done turned me around and my hair was jet black I was not happy but she... read more
