I was in Italy for a month. Vespa scooters everywhere. The Celeste color is my favorite. Decided I should get a Vespa. But I'm not about to add another gas engine to the environment. I have only put 86 miles on this scooter and the batteries and/or rapid charger are already failing! I charged it once without problem, but the 2nd time the rapid charger started to malfunction and is already dead. Now the batteries run down at a different rate. I definitely don’t get 70 miles per charge. I’ve only driven 38 miles and one battery is already down to 26% and the other at 36%. Super cute bike perfect to drive around the city
Feeling a little discouraged as I try to assemble the docs I need to register the scooter (super-cute! Can't wait to be able to ride it beyond my neighborhood) in New York. Customer service is working with me, as it's a novel situation for them. I'm usually a five-star person, but it's hard to give a wholeheartedly positive review on a scooter that I can't really ride and a company that hasn't really delivered what I need, though.
